Tapestry
Tapestry is a physical study concerning light and movement. With a ban on open fires within houses, the calming hypnotic effects of staring into the flickering flames are absent from London homes. Whilst amusing, kitsch faux fireplaces and crackling fire YouTube steams don’t quite cut it. This experiment featuring a sheet of silk, LED smart bulbs and 2 simple fans aims to recreates this mesmeric feeling.
